Abe Ghabra is Motional’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all of the company’s global operations.
As COO, Abe leads Motional’s AV testing and performance analysis, commercial fleet operations, fleet management and logistics, mapping operations, workplace experience, and safety.
Abe is based in Las Vegas, where he was responsible for opening and growing Motional’s largest operations hub, currently home to over 300 team members. He also oversaw the launch and operation of Motional’s public robotaxi service in Las Vegas in 2018. That service has since become the world’s most established public robotaxi fleet.
Abe has previously served in numerous engineering, business development, and general management roles. Prior to Motional, Abe held multiple executive roles at Delphi and Aptiv, where he worked with the company’s largest automotive customers, led the development and execution of new business strategies, and oversaw global teams. Prior to joining Delphi, Abe had various leadership, business development, and engineering assignments at ACTIA’s on-board electronics and systems division.
Abe received his MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
